Mambo’s Chicken slammed for using sexually suggestive language in ads
Local fast food restaurant, Mambo’s Chicken has again come under fire for using sexually suggestive language in its marketing strategies.
Mambo’s Chicken is well known for using bold and witty ads based on current trends.
Judging by the latest comments on social media, some people are not very happy with Mambo’s Chicken’s advertising tactics as they accused the food store of using sexism to market their food.
Here are some of the comments;
It’s not sex that Mambos sells,
Their advertisements disrespect women and portray women as “the weaker sex”,
As objects of men’s satisfaction.
They are also clear in their advertising, their target is men,
As their “jokes” are always about men who get them https://t.co/RTJv66PVI7

“Mambo’s Chicken reflects the language of sexual predators – and emboldens them” their ads are in bad taste. We wonder if there are women working in this company and what she says about it🤮🤮🤮 https://t.co/nY5Owkb1cb

“The Mambo’s Chicken brand has monetized lust and lust, masquerading as witty and risky marketing. By producing obscene comments, Freedom Maziriri’s company exploits predatory sexual behaviors linked to male sexual rights to play its role of “one of the boys”.

Another section, however, came to defend fast food by arguing that there was nothing wrong with the way Mambo’s Chicken advertises its meals.
The holiest you here on Twitter are annoying, who doesn’t know that sex sells. Even in most hiphop music genres to be precise and you are still buying the music. What changes if it’s an ad from Chicken Mambos or from this drilling company🤷♂️. And in addition it is yalls interpretation 🤦♂️

A good brand balances the opposing traits.
Either a positive and a negative trait.
or a positive and a neutral.
Nandos balances Street-smart and Class.
Mambos tries to balance Street smart and naughty.
Street smart is almost negative so added to naughty it becomes “Nasty”.

The way I see it, the #Mambos ad has nothing to do with the sexual connotations that people try to attach to it, but rather is related to the #nhm campaign. Politics should not be used to target companies that have nothing to do with politics!

The way you interpret Mambos Ads says a lot about you. Let them do it about their ads. If the only Ngaapinde amana or their Big Breasts Big Thighs ads mean sex, then you have a dirty mind.
I mean who doesn’t know that chickens have breasts and thighs. We grew up knowing chidya ndechababa. https://t.co/w4PFvhBzLE

there is nothing wrong with Mambos ad ngaapinde amana.
if you see any sexual connotations on ngaapinde. so that says more about you as a person than it does about Mambos. It’s the truth.
